Vallabh Ashram, a well-established institutional conglomerate is a leading socio-cultural centre in the field of education today. It owes its existence to the roots imbedded by SangeetSudhakar Late Poojya Swami Shreevallabhdasji, a great exponent of Indian classical music.

The ardent desire of Swamiji to establish a music academy and an ideal school in a soothing pure surrounding that would instill Indian culture and values. As a first step towards realization of his dream and mission, he established ShreevallabhShikshanSangeet Ashram, at Sion, Mumbai in the year 1950 to offer its submissive mite towards modern education and Indian Fine Arts. It was inaugurated by Shri Kaka Kalelkar, a well-known litterateur of Gujarat.

During the years, this humble beginning at Sion, Mumbai has grown many folds.The Ashram now manages a number of institutions in Mumbai, namely, ShreevallabhVividhlakhiVidyalaya, Shreevallabh Ashram English Medium School, ShreevallabhSangeetalaya for Indian Classical Music and Dance Academy and a Yoga Centre. These centres,housed in spacious buildings of their own, have been duly registered by the Government of Maharashtra, and are proudly contributing to society's growth and well-being.
