Swami Shreevallabhdasji

Swami Shreevallabhdasji, a dedicated Swaminarayan disciple perceived music and devotion as the means of attaining proximity to God. For two and a half decades, he acquired training in the art of Mridang, Tabla and Vocal Music under his proficient masterand Guru, "Aftab-e-Mousiqi" UstadFaiyyaz Hussein Khan. His passion to start a music academy and an ideal school led to the establishment of ShreevallabhShikshanSangeet Ashram, at Sion, Mumbai in the year 1950 that simultaneously led to the formation of a renowned music, dance and yoga academy in Mumbai.

On Swamiji's sad demise on 23rd May, 1952, his disciples, Swami Shri Hariprasaddasji and Swami Shri ChaitanyaSwaroopdasji took upon the challenge of completing his unfinished projectat Killa Pardi, District Valsad. They were assisted in this project by the philanthropic industrialist, late Sheth Shri KasturbhaiLalbhai, Chairman, Atul Products Ltd. Atul, who was instrumental in arranging 28 acres of land along the National Highway No.8 at Killa Pardi. It was here that the International Education Centre was set up in the year 1976 under the management of the Shreevallabh Seva Kendra (a duly registered Public Trust Act, 1950).


Swami Shree Hariprasaddasji

'A visionary with a Mission', Swami Hariprasaddasjihas persistently striven to realize his Guru's dreams. He dedicated his life to LordSwaminarayan at the age of 13. It was at Ahmedabad and Baroda that he attained his early education beside thepractice ofmusic. He hasdevoted most of his time to social service besides spiritual enlightenment through meditation, and has started a project of providing free education to the adivasisat a school at Balda. For PoojyaSwamiji, this has been a passage towards reaching ever expanding horizons with a missionary zeal. There is still much that he can offer to society.
